Our principal, Captain Bill Sturrock has had a lifetime of seagoing experience and having a Foreign Going Masters Certificate helps him to know what the M.C.A. (Maritime & Coastguard Agency) examiners are looking for in a candidate. As a result we are able to tailor our courses to suit all levels with a high pass rate.

Situated in the Oban area we are central to train, bus and ferry services for the convenience of candidates in Argyll & The Isles, Highland region and the Hebrides. We have traveled to the Shetlands and Orkneys when there were enough candidates from those areas.

Our shorebased courses cover the new VHF/SRC, coastal and offshore navigation in a relaxed atmosphere without the distraction of a large class.
